Who we are

A trade business, run like one

Northbank Septic pumps, inspects and services septic systems and grease traps from Vancouver to Longview. We own the truck, we answer the phone, and we do the work ourselves.

Septic work is simple to describe and easy to do badly. Pump only the first compartment, skip the rinse, guess at the size, and nobody can tell from the driveway. We built the company around the opposite: a price you can check against the tank's rated size, a photo of the empty tank on every receipt, and the county paperwork filed without being asked.

We're based in Vancouver and run one route through Clark County and up into Cowlitz. Most of our work comes from the same customers every few years and from the neighbors they mention us to.

How we price

Three rules we don't break

You should be able to work out your own bill from this website before we arrive.

The tank's rated size sets the price. $0.55 per gallon, on the size stamped on the lid or on the county drawing, not on how full it looked.
Disposal is included. No dump fee, no fuel surcharge, no trip charge. Sales tax is the only thing added.
Repairs are quoted separately. If we find something during a pump-out or an inspection, you get a price for it in writing. Nothing is bundled in.
Every receipt has a photo. The empty tank, before the lids go back on.
